Aragon Improv

AIT: Aragon Improv Team

Improv is the art of creating stories from nothing. Every show is unique, never seen before and never to be seen again, and each performance is born from the collaboration of the players on stage. Throughout the year, students practice skills such as listening, paying attention to details, and “Yes and-ing” ideas to build this collaboration. The goal is to cultivate a positive and playful environment in which students can explore improvisational storytelling.

Aragon’s Improv Team, known as “AIT”, consists of 12 Aragon students who perform for local audiences and participate in friendly competitions with other Improv teams throughout the year.

Eavan Huth, AIT Coach

Eavan has loved improvisation, in all its forms, for the better part of a decade. As an AIT alumna, she is thrilled to be coaching the team this year. Eavan has performed with UC Davis’ Birdstrike Theatre, and is one of the founding organizers of the annual Femmeprov Festival based at UCD. She served multiple terms as a creative director for Birdstrike, and has led improv workshops for college and high school students throughout the Bay Area.
